It’s been an interesting job setting out the levels and the fact the newer part of the building is practically on bed rock didn’t give us much room. All new gas, sewage and air bricks all sorted before laying new joists and insulating. Underfloor heating arriving first week of jan. Interesting job for @tatestives delivered today. three melamine faced birch ply units that are being used in the Tate for children’s coat and bag storage. White on the outside to blend in with the surroundings and bright colours on the inside.

Last job of the year all finished up today. New hardwood front door and frame made in the workshop. Primed and ready for painting in the new year. This front door was made to match the existing arts and crafts front door but with updated double glaze

Boot room all finished off today. The clients wanted to go with a more traditional look with the face framed units to keep the cottage vibe. Maximum storage was gained by using the space under the stairs, which made the perfect place for the dog bed.
